Multimedia classroom is an innovative idea in the context of our country. The Education system would turn into revolutionary shape if it is truly implemented in the school of urban and rural areas. At present Government is relentlessly and sincerely  working hard to set up a structure in digital format to educational institutions. Decision of introducing dynamic website and multi-media classroom to secondary and higher secondary schools could be termed as a milestone step. Many institutions have already started the projects. In spite of its bright side, setting up a multimedia  classroom has huge challenges.

Positive mindset: Any new idea takes time  to adjust and keep aside the age old conventional way of thinking. Multimedia class room is a new  and more modern approach in the perspective of our country. In the country where ‘chalk and talk’ plays a dominant  role in the class room situation. So mindset change is vital that needs to start from the top position in the school administration.

Stakeholder’s roles: Different bodies that relate to governing different category of educational institutions  can play effective role in initiating the process of introducing multimedia classroom in their respective institutions. Their roles are considered to be very needful for such projects involve moderate investment. Stakeholders need to be well informed on the subject matter with a view to making them understand  the necessity of the projects and its implementation at the grass root level.

Concerted efforts: Reinforcement of learning in the mind of the students is possible  when students find amusement in the learning process. The simple message requires to be perceived by all concerned parties.  Teachers who are the key players in the classroom should come forward with highest efforts. Training in multimedia classroom teaching should be provided  to maximum teachers and those trained teachers can also start in-house training on the subject matter for the up gradation of their fellow colleagues. These concerted efforts would go on cycle. Follow up monitoring  with the  long  term vision need to continue.

No challenge is possible to overcome unless it is addressed properly. Appropriate use of multi media  in imparting knowledge can be the best choice to ensure quality education. Multimedia class room should be the indispensable part of teaching and learning system. There is no alternate to standard form of education in this competitive age.
